We are the only ones who feel it
Tonight we drink, tonight we dance with all the last ones who can hear it
We're calling in whispers, we're tired of waiting
We'll take what we want and leave, leave what we know behind

"That's damn creepy, Colden." She teased him gently with a small smirk, and then murmured a 'thanks' as she reached for the chips he offered, the backs of her fingers brushing his wrist in a subtle but clear to him gesture before she drew back to pop one chip between her lips, and one little one into Aaron's mouth - the little boy stirring momentarily at the food being passed around. She watched Cole for a moment longer without being too obvious and then shifted her gaze to watch Luke with a cocked brow - the guy was so done, and she actually found herself worrying for him a little bit, though she didn't doubt that his wife knew how to handle him and he had had to deal with her wrath before. Her gaze lingered on the older boys who were very consumed by their discussion suddenly about the accuracy of Luke's drawing, but her attention was on Cole as he spoke to her, smiling slightly still. "Yeah... Doesn't get to happen very often - everyone's so busy, you know." She looked over at him again, her lips gently pursing as she just watched him for a moment, still trying to figure out how just a week ago she hadn't even ever met him.
