We are the only ones who feel it
Tonight we drink, tonight we dance with all the last ones who can hear it
We're calling in whispers, we're tired of waiting
We'll take what we want and leave, leave what we know behind

"Yeah definitely - changes the whole order of things." She agreed without hesitation because she had definitely seen that first hand as well - it was understandable, of course, but a bit of a shame that things had to get so complicated. She watched him get up to get himself another drink, trying to judge his level of sobriety, not that it really mattered though, and then nodded a touch at his assumption. "Sometimes. Not really though..." Every once in a while she would sneak out with the girls and have a couple drinks, or maybe nurse a beer or two when they were just hanging out, but not much like how she was when she was just with her friends. She didn't mean to be so contradictory, but it was just a matter of impressions and her comfort level around different people. A hand brushed over Aaron's head and she looked down at him for a minute before looking up to Cole, just staring silently for a moment before speaking. "I'm going to take him home... The house is just down the beach so I'm just going to walk. You can come if you want, or I'll just catch you later..." Being the beach bums that they were, of course Shayne and Kaylee had a house on the beach, but it was a bit of a ways away - further from the public area and down towards where the properties turned residential. It was definitely within walking distance though, and it was a nice enough night that it seemed like a better idea than trying to find someone to drive the little guy - and Dylan looked like he was having too much fun for her to bug him to take his brother home.
