We are the only ones who feel it
Tonight we drink, tonight we dance with all the last ones who can hear it
We're calling in whispers, we're tired of waiting
We'll take what we want and leave, leave what we know behind

She was actually feeling a little bit shy which was very uncharacteristic of her, but it had been a long and eventful day, and she was a little bit thrown off - being there with her cousins and then running into him and not being prepared for it at all. Truthfully though, she found herself glad to have his company even despite all of that. She had half-expected him to decline accompanying her, but at his offer, she smiled briefly and nodded, ducking away to explain things to Kalia quickly - and promising that she would be back before long and would call if something came up - and then met back up with him again. In his sleepy state, Aaron just mumbled something unintelligible and cuddled up against Colden's chest, and she quietly hooked one finger into the pocket of Cole's jeans once they had left the light of the bonfire to lead the way away from the group and in the direction of her aunt and uncle's house. "So were you getting into all sorts of trouble tonight before you guys found our little group?" It got dark fast as they left the busier area and she found herself glad he had come along so she wouldn't have had to make the walk on her own - though she would have, but it just would have been lonelier.
