Subject: Rushing our moment to shine
In reply to: Jocelyn & Co. 's message, "

We are the only ones who feel it
Tonight we drink, tonight we dance with all the last ones who can hear it
We're calling in whispers, we're tired of waiting
We'll take what we want and leave, leave what we know behind

"I almost drowned him before you showed up." She admitted with no shame and a small amused smirk and then reached out to take the boy from him once they arrived at the house - taking advantage of the momentary closeness to press a brief kiss to the side of his mouth before just shifting Aaron in her arms so that he was comfortable and shrugging slightly. "I like kids, yeah. Secretly glad I have no young siblings around all the time though, and definitely have a lot of growing up to do before I can imagine even thinking about whether or not I want kids of my own." She admitted on the exhalation of a breath, unsure if he wanted to hear all that - but it was her honest opinion on where she stood about kids. Bumping her shoulder gently against his, she gestured to the house with her head because her arms were wrapped around Aaron. "You wanna come in? Don't have to if you don't want to... I'm just going to drop him off, and my aunt and uncle'll be there - but they're cool..." She left it up to him to make the call - not blaming him if he opted out of coming in, but not minding at all if he did want to accompany her inside.
