In reply to: Jocelyn & Co. 's message, "

We are the only ones who feel it
Tonight we drink, tonight we dance with all the last ones who can hear it
We're calling in whispers, we're tired of waiting
We'll take what we want and leave, leave what we know behind

She smiled a touch at that and nodded, then returned his kiss warmly, but a soft laugh followed, her eyes bright as she met his gaze and her voice dropped to a quieter murmur. "You missed... Stop and pick up some marshmallows and chocolate sauce next time we skip school, and you won't feel bad you missed s'mores." Her tone was affectionately teasing before she let him guide her up and into the house without bothering to knock. Her uncle Shay took his littlest son from her immediately with an appreciative smile and the introductions followed and went pretty smoothly - she briefly explained that Colden went to school with her and was Jake's cousin, who they knew well, and niceties were exchanged. Her aunt of course offered to feed them if they stayed, but she used the excuse that the rest of the group was waiting for them to return to get them out of staying for longer, and so it wasn't too long before they were heading back out the front door. Wordlessly, she guided him down the stairs ahead of her so that as he went down the stairs she could hoist herself off of his shoulders so that he was piggy-backing her the rest of the way down. "Not bad, eh?"
