"Not freezing, you're keepin' me pretty hot." Yeah, he was corny, especially when slightly drunk but he was having a good time and just having fun with her. He looked over his shoulder at the bonfire before he sighed, reluctantly letting her go. "We should get back before they send out the search party. Jake will think my stupid self led you off into the ocean to get eaten by a shark or swept away by the currents or something like that." He made a face before he winked and placed a hand on the small of her back - over her clothes - to lead her back towards where their people were still gathering. More people seemed to be drinking now that the kids were gone, apperantly Dylan had headed out too.

She teased right back with a slow grin and wrapped her own arms around him for a tight hug, laughing softly at his response to her concern about him being cold. "At least I'm good for something." She loosened her hold on him at the same time that he did and nodded her agreement - she had just been thinking along the same lines. Before they headed back to the group, she reached up for one more kiss, and then just shoved her hands into the pockets of his jacket that she was wearing and allowed him to guide the way back to their friends and family. She was pleased to see that drinks were being passed around more generously now that the night was growing later - it made their return less of a big deal and she was just happy as long as everyone else was having fun...
