(His smile kept growing. He knew how much his having a car would benefit her too, and that was a plus. Anything they could do together was a plus. He was hoping his dad would go easy on him and let him get a hybrid car, he didn't want some gas sucking muscle car, like he knew his mother would want. She had a soft spot for a particular mustang that sat in their garage.) I was thinking about taking some extra hours. (He said with a nod, humoring her.
