• She nodded a little, smiling a little as she squeezed his hand lightly. "Sure...order me something you think I would like?" She requested with a smile, pressing a kiss to his cheek in thanks as she turned her bright green eyes to look around. The place was packed and she was loving the atmosphere and the excitment humming. Once again, she was struck by how good Remy took care of her and her eyes affectionately followed him as he headed to the bar. She couldn't ask for a better best friend in the world. He had always felt this indeniable urge to take care of her, even though he knew that she could take care of herself in many situations. It just wouldn't be right of him to let her stand alone in this sort of situation. He sidled up to the bar, ordering a virgin dacquieri and a bottle of water. • (He had always loved that about her.. she was a true friend and had never made him feel like he had to compete for attenting.. in fact, there had been moments when he had been sick and at home and she had driven him insane.. but he had loved every moment of being paid attention to. She was to excited to sit down, so she leaned against the rail, pursing her lips as she looked down. "You can see everything from here!"   • She smiled softly, tipping her head up to look at him for a long moment before she rested against his side, her head on her shoulder. "How you doing?" She questioned after noticing his observances, sometimes, he tended to get a little grumpy in crowds and while she wasn't sure exactly why she was always sensative to it. "He's oblivious." She stated with a laugh, gazing down at the guard before she pursed her lips at the girl down on the floor. "Hey, isn't that the chick who was talking to you by your locker yesterday?" • (He turned his back to the railing and leaned on it, looking over at her. At her question he tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and shrugged.) Good.. (He let the word trail off, smiling at her as she looked down at the guy had had pointed out, leaning back farthur to look down at the girl.. he hadn't noticed that part. He narrowed his gaze to focus on her, since the urge to mentally make fun of the surly body guard was almost overwhelming.) I guess.. She faked the valley girl accent with a flip of her hair before she reached up to brush the shaggy locks out of his eyes. Her eyes flew back to the stage as the lights went out and then the stage lights came on - the show starting and her starting to yell and jump up and down, singing along with the first song. • (He laughed, watching her eyes the entire time she spoke, sort of disappointed that the music had distracted her. He liked talking to her, enjoyed watching her.. but he was also distracted by the band. He laid his hand on the small of her back and alternated between watching the band and watching her, allowing his eyes to focus on something he was familiar with allowed him to relax. • She smiled brightly up at him as the band stopped to talk for a second before they went on to the next song. Taking a step closer to him, she leaned a bit farther over the railing to see better, obviously excited and having a great time. She was all sorts of jumpy and screamy while he was more withdrawn but it was obvious he was enjoying the show also, the music at least. She wasn't sure about the actual scene, how he felt about that, but she was so happy to have him there, that he had brought this all together for her, that it was hard for her to think that he could be not having as great of a time as she was. Because he was more than a head and a half taller than her, he could still see over her shoulder and it gave him an excuse to keep his eyes on her. He liked the way the lights from the stage set glittered in her eyes and the way she chanced a look at him to see if he was excited about something that struck her.. it was a rare and amazing relationship they shared. He had always believed she was his soulmate, destined to be his best friend forever.. no one had been able to see straight through him and take him in so easily.. and so thoroughly- she never once had told him to lay off on his protective nature, or to leave her alone.. any raw moment was raw between the two of them.. skinned knees, pink eye, chicken pox.. they had shared it all and made the best of it. That song went on before it faded into the next and nearly an hour later her voice was shot to hell and she leaned back against his chest, letting out a soft sigh of contentment. The fact that the concert had ended meant just the beginning of his night.. his brain would be on overload for hours and it would be morning before he came down. He definitely looked a little older since the McLean height had passed on to him, and he simply gave a straightfaced smile that had the bartender getting their drinks. He looked over at her.) I was talking to my dad the other day. .(he said, without missing a beat, there were few moments when he liked to talk, but when his mind was racing with images, sounds and smells, he found it easier to handle if he focused on one thought.) He was hoping his dad would go easy on him and let him get a hybrid car, he didn't want some gas sucking muscle car, like he knew his mother would want. She liked guys, of course, she was a fifteen year old girl but when she was with him she didn't flirt around or anything like that, she just payed attention and was with him, focused only on him. At school there was a couple of guys who liked her, particulary one junior who was mr. super jock, he was in the same class as Trevor, her sisters boyfriend. He could sit with her for hours and not say a word and never feel like he was ignoring her, she understood him, and if she wanted to talk she could yack his ear off and he would be happier than ever. She might think he was simply lazy, but it was the only way he could focus on her, it made him appear reserved and quiet. He had noticed the looks she got, noticed just about everything, but he chose to ignore. If something happened to her that she couldnt handle he would be there, but he didn't smother her either.
