  • He did whatever she asked of him, before smiling a little and leaning in to press a soft kiss to her cheek and then speaking. "Only two actual deliveries, and i had partners with me... But I've transferred many women in labor..." He had so many stories, sometimes the ones with the unfortunate endings were the ones that lingered the longest in his memory, but every once in a while he was reminded of the good ones - like those two tiny babies and their mothers, who still brought the children to visit him every few months.
