Subject: His breath caught softly and though his fingers remained tightly in hers, his eyes followed the tiny screaming baby intently - as if he couldn't quite believe that their little girl was here finally. While the nurses fussed over her, he turned his gaze slowly back to Gabby and broke a small smile as he leaned down to kiss her cheek softly and then brushed back her head slowly, reaching for a cup of water that had been placed beside her bed. "Okay, love?" His voice was soft and his gaze shifted back to where their baby was before long.

  • She nodded a bit though was silent as the little girl was finally placed in her arms. She was a little splotchy in color, thanks to her mixed race but she was so cute and scrunched up and she had Kalebs eyes and lips and it just all brought tears to her eyes. "She's so pretty..." She murmured as she looked up to Kaleb, clearing her throat softly before she let him help her sit up. The baby was already nuzzling her chest a touch but she shifted her towards him. "Hold her...?"
