Subject: She stood up immediatly, drawing her arms tightly around herself. "Yes, how is he? Is he ok?" She questioned, her brow furrowed, trying to look past the doors holding her back from where her boyfriend was. H ewas so much more then her boyfriend though, he was a major huge part of who she was, her very existance and she was scared out of her mind. "Please tell me he's alright, what happened?" • "It's remarkable that he's still alive." The doctor stated quite honestly and in complete seriousness - they would do everything in their power to ensure that he got the best possible care, but she had little patience for those who abused their wealth in this way. However, as a medical professional, she also understood that drug addiction was an illness - not often a choice by this point. "We're waiting for the test results, but it seems most likely that he injected tainted heroin. The evidence suggest that he's an experienced user, and so it's less likely that he would overdose. He's stable now, but unconscious. He's still in critical condition, but there's nothing else we can do for him, it's just a matter of waiting to see how his body reacts. He's lucky that our paramedics got to him when they did." (NT) -- Doc, Fri, Oct 28 2005, 11:44pm PDT
