Their cd was supposed to be released soon and they didn't need any bad publicity and she wasn't going to let them drag him through the dirt over this. She remembered when Ethan had been in his accident, Emily had pretty much kept it under wraps except for a few press releases that she had put out there.

She promised and then was off to take care of the rest of her patients, leaving the distraught young woman in the company of a nurse that arrived moments later to take Gavin's history - gently asking all sorts of questions about his drug use, and general medical history, and all that sort of things.
