Subject: Her lower lip trembled a little, she really was a beautiful, exotic looking young woman and she could be very soft and tender when the need or feeling was there. Her eyes drifted over the floor before she looked back to Nick, biting her lip a little as she shrugged. "I..I don't know...I should have been watching her..." She stated softly, her voice a little shakey. She would take all the blame herself, easily, she should have been looking out for her cousin. He let out a low breath, pulling away from his mom before he looked over to where his dad was with Kelci. If there was one thing his dad would never do to his mom, that would be to ever give her a reason to feel jealous and that was a good thing. Because Kate trusted him so entirely, she had no problem with sending Quin off to the beautiful girl while she comforted him.

Her eyes went back to the doctor, completely focused on him - waiting to hear that her cousin was ok and she could take her home and it had all just been a big understanding. She bit her lip, her brow furrowed as she let Nick go. It was hard, knowing that someone her son cared about was hurt and that made him hurt of course. Which, naturally, meant that she was hurting for him. It didn't matter that she was an agent, she was still a woman and still emotional. For those reasons, she went over to Quin, leaning back against him and wrapping his arms around her as she to watched the daughter.
