• She had been at home, where she usually was these days- she'd fallen into a slightly depressed state with their seperation - when she had gotten the phone call. She hadn't even finished talking to the nurse, just dropped the phone, which was still on, to the floor. She'd gotten here in gotten here in record time and was now pushing her way through the waiting room to find a nurse who could tell her what was going on. "Excuse me." She had the ability to just excude a commanding attitude sometimes, and she was using that in full force right now. "Colin Black, I am here in regards to Colin Black." • It was a quiet evening in the hospital, except for the steady stream of people pushing in and out of the doors to Colin's room and the occasional shout for assistance that escaped - they were having trouble getting him stabilized, but clearly doing everything that they could. The nurse behind the reception desk looked up at the woman's entrance and stood slowly, walking around to the other side to usher her to the waiting area. "Ms. McLean? • It was good that she could be patience despite her concern because it was a long time before things started to quiet down and a young female doctor emerged from his room and moved over to the nurse's station to chat with the woman there for a little bit. • "Alright..." She nodded slowly at that and crossed her arms under her chest. "He's been stabilized, but is unconscious - all we can do now is wait." It was unclear whether he had overdosed or if the fix was impure, but it was clear that his brain had suffered some severe trauma and no one would know the severity of the damage until he woke up - if he woke up. • It wasn't too much longer that a nurse was there to get her, and ushering her into the room - making sure she had everything she needed before leaving her alone with the man. The soft hiss of the respirator mingled with the steady beep of the heart monitor - creating an almost eery melody. He was still in the bed - looking more relaxed and peaceful than he had in years, but the calm was deceiving. His body was struggling to recover - traumatized by the incident...
