Subject: Call me blind, but I didn't see it comin'..

The huge man was in a panicked rage by the time he finally got to the ER - traffic had been backed up and he was terrified that he'd missed something - she had been supposed to meet him - he'd gone down to the club ahead to straighten things up - he was getting the money for Mike, and she was going to meet up with him as soon as he dropped the money off - but he never made it to the drop because he'd gotten a call on his cell that had made his heart drop to his toes. He pushed people aside left and right making his way to the information desk. "Where the hell is she?!"

She let out a soft breath at that - she knew exactly who he was talking about. It was a sad situation. "She is in surgery right now sir. I don't know if you were told, but she was brought in with two gunshot wounds." She looked up at him. "We had to deliver the baby through a c-section though she is in shock still and there was some injury to her body." She brought her sympathetic gaze to him. She repeated herself - realizing that all of this was a lot to take in for the young man. "The baby is in the nursery - she's in an incubator at the moment and doctors are trying to stabilize her." She cleared her throat a bit. "Miss Rodriguez is still the OR. One bullet hit dangerously close to her windpipe and the doctors are trying to remove it without hindering her breathing." She nodded slowly, calling another nurse to come over and man her station. "Follow me, we have to get you scrubbed and sterilized before you can go in." She was an incubator - tiny little stitches on her abdomen covered by a tiny little bandage. The nurse gently took the baby out - she was so tiny she could fit almost in the palm of Fallons hand. She took the baby and put her back into the incubator before she escorted him back out, going to go see what was wrong with diamond. A moment later she came back out to let him know what was going on. "While she was on the table, her kidney started failing and her opposite isn't strong enough now to handle things - they've put her on dyallisis until we can find a donor and get a transplant." She hung up in a panic and ran the short distance to her bike, terrified that something had happened to Christian, every possibility running through her head, kicking away from the sidewalk and speeding down the road to the hospital. She was there within five minutes, helmet in her hand, hurrying to the nurses desk to enquire as to where they might be, not even placing this with Fallon yet... her mind stuck on one thing. She smiled just slightly and shook her head "I'm glad Im here..." She should be here... by her sister's side... She got him a coffee out of the machine and sat him down, brushing a hand over his head "Give me two minutes... I need to call someone..." It took him the time that she was on the phone to figure things out, to piece together everything that was happening - it was like sense was seeping into him like the heat through the styrofoam cup of coffee. She exhaled the smoke slowly, letting out a heavy sigh along with it "Hey...Vin its me... I don't know when I'll get home tonight... to your place, I mean..."
