Ky had gone with his grandmother back to their house for dinner, and Brandy had assumed he'd gone back to his own respective place to mull over things, but he wanted to see her, so he made his way in, and went to her room, pulling a chair up beside the bed.

He frowned at the sight of her, reaching for one of her idle hands, and looping his fingers lightly in her fingers for just a second, to give a gentle, and supportive squeeze before he settled back in his chair.
