Laying here left a lot of time for thought... and she'd spent most of it thinking about the relationship she had had with Dante before it had gone so wrong... she found that she remembered everything... and it haunted her. It had haunted her for five years. Their relationship had been formed and broken within the nine months she was pregnant... and for such a short amount of time it was something so significant. Her lungs were healing, the pain from her broken arm and ribs were her main cause for concern at the moment... but she was managing to keep her mind of it. Dante played in her mind without interuption, and she began to face the realisation that she had been keeping at bay, if not my distance then by blocking it from her mind, that she had lost the best thing that ever happened to her.
