She was sat in the waiting room - Kevin had gone into surgery - Kylie was nowhere to be found, and she was red-eyed, clinging to her husband's arm.

He had Raine tucked under one arm, holding her softly, murmuring against her hair - and on the other was Kenzi, crying against his chest. Her own parents were in tahiti, on their 'honeymoon' that they went on every year. He cuddled Kenzi up to him, murmuring. "Shhh kitten your gonna make yourself sick and that won't help anything." He smirked inwardly - if Jay had been around, he would kept Kev in the hospital for making his baby girl cry like this. His gaze lifted to Raine for a moment, silent. "Well.. Kevin is in fairly rough shape, Mr. Montago.. we were able to dislodge the bullet, though he may have suffered some brain damage.. memory loss, that type of thing. The doctor nodded, referring to her clipboard breifly and pushing her glasses up her nose. "Well not for a few hours.. he needs to be monitored closely - but as soon as he's able to see people, we will inform you. She pursed her lips a little, shrugged. "Then I guess you'll have to tell them that." She looked to the worried Raine, frowned again.
