I kinda think I know what you mean, if the lyrics seem obvious its kinda crappy but hopefully silverchair wont be like that, and I doubt it. Their lyrics have never really been straightforward! i read today gwen & gavin are engaged! if there are kids i bet they're good singers
oh i have to share something mike patton said at the big day out, seeing as u dont like natalie. he was looking around the moshpit for 'australian celebrities' and supposedly saw mel gibson and mike tyson (wtf! lol) and then he goes "HEYYYYY....IT'S.................NATALIE IMBRUGLIA!!!! I'm gonna fuck you up, girrrl.." lol he wasnt being awful but it was just somehow funny. I hope daniel didnt hear him though!

I was like that for a while, listeing to HEAPS of silverchair, then i started getting into all this other shit but if u compare a lot of bands to the chair, musically they are no where near the chair. Neon was such a huge jump from freakshow, i really wonder how diorama will sound. and i dont care how experimental it is, if it even is, cos i listen to a lot of pretty unorginal punky kinda music atm, and theres always differnt music to listen to while the chair CDs are in hibernation :)
