Subject: Yet another pissed-off rant...

Guess what just occurred to me today?
*Follow closely, you may get lost... :)*
1. Album is set to be released in North America three months later than in Australia.
2. chairheads freak.
3. chairheads order copies of album from Australia.
4. Album is released in July in N.A.
5. all the chairheads already have their copy and do not buy additional copies in their own countries.
6. Album sales numbers for North America are extremely low due to all the old fans buying their albums elsewhere.
7. Record company sees this and thinks that the album just didn't sell well in North America.
8. They give less effort/money to promotion and touring in these countries.
9. The 'chair only does a few concerts here and due to little promotion, gains few new fans.
10. Equals bad news for the 'chair and the fans.

Got me? I'm not saying this is what's going to happen... I'm saying y'never fuckin' know. Atlantic better realize what's happened when the album goes gold in Canada and the States and 37 times platinum in Australia. Christ.
