ok, firstly i wish i knew how to put what you said in inverted commas so i could reply better, it's probably something simple that i'm missing...

anyway, i believe you about the flyers and to be quite honest i didn't think much of robbie S when i met him a few times backstage at temple bar music centre. i'm not sure how he's going to finance the far east etc, i guess he's relying on the revs to explode over there or something.
i'm relly surprised by your story about rory, it seems so out of character for him to do something like that. i dunno, maybe he was having a bad day and took it out on you, i doubt it was personal. strange though...
yeah, i agree about not argueing, anyway, dito to you seeming decent and you come across very intelligent too. you phrase your answers well.
actually, i lied about my band, we're not together right now, we broke up about 8 weeks ago. we mainly gigged around the local scene and in dublin and drogheda the odd time (i'm in dundalk by the way). the live music scene is pretty dismal at the minute and there's not many venues you can play. it has been helped in recent times with the resurgence of rock and metal and the abundance of little grungy kids with slipknot hoodys prowling the streets, but there's a lot of room for improvement.
i'm doing my leaving this year as well by the way (i'm 18) so i know what you meen about lack of time etc (which is one of the reasons the band split up). stress.....
i play drums, started when i was 13. took up guitar quite recently as well but i would consider myself a drummer first and foremost. my music taste is also extremely eclectic. some of my favourite bands are:
gomez (obviously), ben folds five, sigur ros, foo fighters, the whole southern californian punk scene, dj shadow, incubus, tom waits, beastie boys. i also listen to a lot of jazz and stuff too.
i know what you meen about being called hippy. i get the same. you dress differently and people put you down. i'd rather be an individual than a sheep though.
as for the retard comment, there's was seriously no offense intended, i'm glad you understand.
