Susan you don't need to be ashamed of anything. The suppositories you got as a child and the Fleet enemas your Doula gave you scared the little girl inside you that was already afraid of her bowel movements. You probably had a hard poop that you passed when you were very little and just as you don't remember those suppositories you also don't remember that difficult and painful poop. But that's why you have always been afraid of your pooping because your brain remembers it. You got this girl. You can do it. Let the little girl inside that is still afraid to poop accept her requirements now so she can get healthy. It will be a good bonding experience for you and your daughter to go in to your master bedroom and let Auntie clean you two out. Is she going to do a soapsuds enema and then a rinse? Since you say you are only going to do this every other week I think you need a good cleaning with the soapsuds enema first.
