It is an automatic thing. I can remember many times going to the bathroom basically to not get caught holding and sitting on the floor right next to the toilet and breathing, holding, until the cramps stopped then standing up, flushing the toilet like I used the bathroom but really didn’t and then just walked out. I would basically constipate myself until the pain to go was unbearable for a child my age. Then there were times I smeared as well. The enemas forced me to bear the pain until I either helped push it out or I relaxed enough that the soap took over and took control. It is almost as unthinking as breathing for her. I get it. I'm trying to keep her clean at least. But I get little help from her at all. I hated enemas growing up as I have shared many times in my personal accounts. But mom was standing on her word though and didn’t back down. I wasn’t helping matters either by holding and not wanting to go but mom forced me to go by giving me enemas which I could not fight or stop the urges. Keep doing what you are doing.
