Chloe,
Thank you for being willing to share.
Do you have a regular enema day routine, a weekly cleaning out day, or do you only use enemas as part of the DD time? Or suppositories instead? You mentioned your son is mostly as of late the one in DD and getting enemas. And you mentioned you use option 2 and 3. The dresser table helps I am sure.

We keep things on a strict schedule. Fridays are the cleaning days, enemas first, then he’s in diapers for the weekend. Once that’s done, he stays diapered until Monday morning.

I don’t make exceptions for it. Having that structure keeps him grounded, and I like knowing everything will run smoothly. The table setup makes it easier, efficient and there’s no drama about it.

Chloe,
Thanks. Is this schedule only for DD or is this the weekly regular routine? I guess what I am asking, is there an enema day without DD? For example, is your son cleaned out regularly within being under DD?
Yes, the table you mentioned is the same table I have read about. It does seem to be efficient. You willing to share how it was at the beginning when you introduced the table to the children? I am sure being the oldest, the son, resisted some and lots of crying. But the table set up helps a lot to get the job done.

Yes, enemas and diapering are part of our weekly routine, hes always diapered after. In the beginning, he pushed back a bit, mostly because he wasn’t used to such a set structure. But I don’t bend the schedule, and he learned that pretty quickly. The table made it easier on both of us, efficient and once hes on there nothing he can do about it, just what needs to be done. Over time, he stopped fighting it and learned to settle into the routine

Thanks Chloe,
Thanks for being willing to share, like you said prior “diaper discipline as well which I know not everybody agrees with” but actually this is your way of giving your children enemas with diapers included. Makes things easier on you and yes to the children it is discipline. Everyone has different ways and techniques to giving their children enemas and your family decided to design an enema table for efficiency which works. Like you said, “once he’s on there nothing he can do about it, just what needs to be done.” And that is the goal anyway.
And “Over time, he stopped fighting it.”

My back story is my mom gave me enemas over her lap using a bulb from age 6 - 12 years old and I was a fighter kicking my feet and reaching back. Mom many times mom called my two older brothers in to hold my arms and legs. Almost like that table, once they held me, nothing I could do. Mom had full access to my bottom and took advantage of filling me up. As I got older, 10-11-12, I did try to submit more so mom would not have to call my brothers in. I learned how to breathe and take my mind off of what was happening as I laid over mom’s lap.
I can only imagine how easier it is with that table and lifting those legs and there is nothing son can do but watch his legs left and eventually fill the nozzle go into his bottom and be filled up. How much did you decide to use as for as solution? And what nozzle did you choose? Using an inflatable to help him?

We don’t go above what his body can handle, but we do go right up to it. It’s always more than a quart and never quite two, and for his size that is plenty. By the time the bag is close to empty he’s already fighting cramps and insisting he’s full, but the amount is not up for debate. The inflatable nozzle is there for a reason: once it’s in and inflated, it stays in.

The table and straps are not for show. The moment the pressure builds he tries to curl up and close his legs, so his hips and thighs are secured and his feet are set on the leg bar where they belong. He can pull against it and complain all he likes, but his legs stay open, the position doesn’t change, and nothing restarts until retention time is done. It’s uncomfortable, it’s crampy, and he hates every second of it, but the volume stays just under his limit so it’s intense, effective, and still controlled.

Chloe,
Yes, an effective table. He can control his cramps by breathing in deep. He takes deep breaths, that controls the cramps, but also allows more to go into him which he may not realize. He actually unbeknowning to him is giving himself the enema as he controls the cramps and the inflatable nozzle keeps him sealed. If you haven’t already, ask him to take deep breaths and breath in deep and that will help him with the cramps but without telling him, know as well he is allowing more to go into him.

That seems like a useful suggestion. I’ll try having him focus on deep breathing next time. It’s important that he learns to stay composed and follow direction, even when he’s uncomfortable. Afterward, the diapering follows the same structure as always. It’s part of the process and not something he gets a say in. He doesn’t always like it, but he understands it’s necessary, and I don’t let those complaints change the routine. The schedule itself does the work: Fridays start the cycle, then he stays diapered through the weekend until Monday morning. That predictability keeps him grounded, even when he resists. If he acts up he also goes into diapers for the next week as soon as he gets home from school every day.

Chloe,
Yes, by him taking deep breaths he controls the cramps but also allows more solution to go into him. The inflatable nozzle isn’t going to let it come out so he learns to breathe to take more in. Two things you could do, one, give him a small enema to empty his rectum and then give him the almost two quarts. By emptying his rectum he will be able to take more deeper into his colon.
Or, I have heard that goat milk soap doesn’t cause cramps but coats his intestines really well. Since he is having to hold it due to the inflatable nozzle, the goat milk soap will coat him good and go deeper into him without any cramps as he breaths as well. He would probably be expecting to have cramps and be waiting but as he waits, the goat milk soap is coating him and going deeper into him. Ask him to breathe deep and he will take more in. A good deep cleaning enema solution. Will you give an update to know the effectiveness of how his breathing helps him.

I will also add, I have known parents to use just warm water as the enema solution and some parents have used johnson and johnson baby shampoo. Some of course stay with the ole fashioned white ivory bar. I never saw mom make the solution. I just know the jar she brought in with her was warm soapy soapy water that did its job well. I imagine your son produces good results holding for a certain time plus having that inflatable nozzle to seal him until it’s time and that table of course holding him in position and restraining him from fighting it too much.

Chloe,
Also thank you for being willing to share and educate. Sometimes parents who use DD and enemas don’t like to discuss but you shared and that means alot. I do hope you do share the breathing technique with your son to help him with his cramps but you would be happy to know he is helping to give himself the enema without knowing it by taking those deep breaths and taking more into him as the inflatable nozzle keeps him sealed. Which is what you want him to be able to do is take the enema. Please continue to update and educate.
