Please let us know. Coming up with a solution to that frustrating limitation will make plenty o' people very happy!

btw. I've just finished three corporate films with a Sony DVCAM DSR40P - well built, reliable, noisy and professionnal but it still is basically a simple dv deck.
DVCAM tape is thicker and stronger and also runs a little faster indde. But beware of editing too often on the same spot, as rain'drops' will keep falling on your head.
(couldn't resist - one of my favorite songs)

And I'm not sure regular consumers would spend that much on a home recorder...
and tapes run for 124' at the most, far far from dvhs' storage capacity.
Am I right or am I right (or am I wrong)?
