Subject: Anyway D-VHS recording from DirecTV can play anywhere else?

I work for a company that uses the RCA VR911HF with recordings from DirecTV in the States. My question is does anyone know if the D-VHS recroding that is made is able to be played back on ANY OTHER D-VHS machine. Specifically the new model from JVC (30000) that allows the picture to be seen in search modes. Thanks in advance for any help.
