Ciao. Non ci sono consigli ma forse solo macchine diverse tra loro. Io possiedo due DVHS Jvc (acquistati in tempi diversi, il primo un anno fa) e non ho mai usato nastri DVHS. Prima dell'acquisto ho fatto una prova in negozio con un nastro VHS normalissimo e funzionava! Ho iniziato usando nastri SVHS, ma a questo punto uso solo nastri VHS (a non darmi problemi sono i BASF) e la qualità è perfetta (ti spedisco un nastro se credi). Ho però sentito che sui primi esemplari il funzionamento cambia da macchina a macchina: io sono stato fortunato ad avere 2 macchine compatibili (perfino in LS3).

Hi! I've no suggestions, but may be that diffrent DVHS exists. I own two JVC DVHS (bought in different times the first one year ago) and actually I've never used DVHS tapes.
Before purchasing I did a test thanks to the dealer, with a normal VHS tape and it worked! I started using SVHS tapes, but finally now, I just use normal VHS tapes (no problems with BASF) and the quality is very good (I can ship you a tape). Anyway I heard that on the first DVHS units, some differences occours from one to another: I've been lucky to have two full compatible machines (even in LS3).
