Subject: Mac to D-VHS

If you need to go from Mac to D-VHS do this. Send your completed transport stream from the Mac to a Windows XP pc first. Then dump from the pc over firewire to the D-VHS.

Can you convert MPEG2 to 1080p transport streams on the Mac? If so, what does a setup like that cost? It would definitely be cool to "roll your own" upconverted 1080p tapes like that.
