Subject: Information needed on Tape Configuration

I would like to modify my s-vhs tapes so that my JVC DR10000 thinks that they are d-vhs. I know the s-vhs hole on the underside of the cassette, but could somebody who has one tell me how the d-vhs cassette differs.

ps I found that basic Sony CD VHS tapes will also work fine if you make the s-vhs hole then manually change the JVC to d-vhs mode.
