Thanks Alan for putting on a great event yesterday. Its excellent news that the Midlands series is going ahead after all. I made a 250 mile round trip to do Clipstone, and was totally happy to do so for a well organised race on a fun course with reasonable entry fees. I live less than 15 miles from Thetford but i certainly won't be paying Ken Ward £25 for the NPS race! Notice how theres no "Open" category this year?? So if I wanted to race 2 laps I have to pay £25!!! What a rip-off!!
Also thanks to the 2 riders who helped me after my spectacular (not!) over the bars crash, in untangling me from my bike and checking i wasn't dead. And thanks again to Alan for seeing that i was OK and getting me back on my bike to finish the race, though a little dazed and confused. Today i have a banging headache and 2 black n blue knees (nice!).
