Excellent essay, but for one niggling point – you vented a bit too much venom over Spike.

Don’t get me wrong, as anyone who’s seen me post will agree, I dislike the B/S pairing, and even the idea that Spike can truly change – it belittles the Angel story and defies all we know about vampires to date, IMHO.

I just think that the message might be lost to some because they will focus more strongly on the anti-Spike comments.

By and large, you could have done without them, or at least toned them down :) Especially the pregnat Buffy one – eewwwwww.

They are somewhat warranted, but they were a tad pointed as well.

Otherwise, as I said, excellent points. And I sympathize over W/T – I adore Willow, and have nothing against Tara whatsoever.
