Hope? For what? To keep liking the show? To keep watching? The proof is in the pudding. I've been watching since the beginning and I've enjoyed every single plot twist and gut wrenching moment. Judging from that alone, I trust the writers to pull something out that will maybe astound me or at least placate some part of me.
I think about all the same questions that you have, too. But I just shove it aside and think "Eh, they'll figure it out. Meanwhile, what the hell will I do with myself, tv-wise, for the summer hiatus?"
Boy, with all the desponent and upset fans out there, I'm really starting to think that there needs to be support group of some sort.
