She cried out and stumbled backwards as the light filled her eyes. When sight was granted again, her opponent was now above her. Her features no longer showed that trace of confidence she had before. Not with sorcery involved now. Sure, she had more power than most but the only one she couldn�t beat was the Dark Master. Did she have a chance defeating his son, Rhysen? She gritted her teeth and her face was grim, but stubborn.

Briefly she glanced at the mother and child fairies. The sight of them drove maddening emotion and power to the surface. Her skin was the only thing that contained the power. She glowed; she shimmed; she burned with raw magic. Her flesh turned to purple fire contained only by her skin. Every part of her wanted to scream. She couldn�t hold such power. She would burst! The fire was eating her alive!

Something inside her rebelled. She clenched her fists tight around her sword and fought the pain. The Lady looked to the child and mother again. She had to try, for them� and herself. Slowly she ascended into the air. She gave off her own light- purple, though dimmed now. �As you wish.� Came a voice from her and could cause mortals to scream. That voice was never meant for human or fairy ears but could still be reconised as a female's.
