Oh gracious sun don't rise yet! Don't let Sir Gray Death claim her.
Mother, Mother?!
Gentle hand moved over the mare's arch. This was so like her, concern for others and not herself even when near death.
Any second the sun would rise and death would take the girl's fair hand

She felt it coming. Oh what a stubborn lass~
