He wuffles softly in the sweet fairy’s face as a sign of fondness, of course. The stallion winked at her.
“Wot a fine dress indeed! And thankee ye miss. Honey hits the ole stomach, y’know.”
Long, sensitive ears flicked backwards some at the hideousness of the question of vittles from the wolf he had the pleasure of meeting.
"Leroy the lead, eh? Grass ye say? Why the bally nerve of it all! Grass indeed, pish tosh! M'matey I am no ordinary horse. Haven't ye 'eard a word I said? Royalty such as I deserves far better, y'know. Honey, oats, sweet grain, finest apples, berries, why I even tried a trifle once and oooohhohoho..."
The stallion's mouth started to wander and his large stomach growled loudly. His ears went kind of limp and eyes were pleading. The whole thing was kind of comical.
"Grass indeed, sah! Please, sah, matey, pal.... gotcha at least an ole apple tree on paw, sah? Or humans ‘bout? I jolly could fetch some vittles from them right under their ole noses."
