I shall, in the interest of meaningful debate, cease my adversarial tone. My personal belief, Gallan, is that all religions are doo-doo on a stick.

I believe that religions work in the opposite direction from where they should aim, and that is the self-awareness of the spirit. Through laws and edicts, moral precepts and teachings, they inevitably lead men away from themselves. Every man is unique. His drives are different, his goals, his ambitions. How can any book or scroll tell all men how to live? Should we not all be the judges of our own lives? I tell you, good Gallan, that if we all judged ourselves fairly, we would all see that we are gods and kings, that we are all divine and adorable! We would be forced to see that the Universe is a beautiful place and that we are beautiful because we are in it. A man who measures himself by his own ruler can only hold himself in high esteem. The words of other men seldom work to elevate us. Most often, men work to degrade our condition because they themselves are not brave enough to see the beauty within themselves and all things.
