Subject: Christianity is anti-American

Reading that idiot's post (Abba's Son), has made me think.

America believes in a few simple things:
1) Democracy is the best alternative for civil government.
2) Everyone is to be guaranteed freedom of speech, assembly, and religion.
3) Genocide is condemned.
4) People should be punished only for their own criminal acts, not the acts of others.
5) The murder of innocent people is condemned.

The Christian God, and Christianity in general, often takes the opposite stance on all of those issues!

1) God routinely ordered the deaths of people who wanted to organize Israel as a democracy.
2) Lots of Christians want sites like this shut down (Abba's Son actually prayed that this site be shut down!), and most Christians do not want people to take on other religions, and God Himself promotes violence toward practitioners of other religions.
3) God definitely supports genocide. The Flood. The Apocalypse. The Canaanites.
4) Christianity believes we all inherit the sin of Adam. God often ordered entire families to be killed for the sin of one person.
5) The murder of an innocent person is actually praised in Christianity! Abba's Son thanks God for the killing of His Son. Ludicrous. Plus you also have the deaths of other people just for having different beliefs, or because family members sinned...

I don't see how any American can possibly be Christian. I say all good Americans should ship the Christians to Afghanistan so they can practice their barbaric religion somewhere where good and kindly people won't get hurt.

(Mark, how was that for some flag-waving!)
