You know Kyser, I think Joss pulled it off...the finale had everything I we wanted to see.

How great was that last Scooby scene flashback to an earlier time, chatting and walking the halls in Sunnydale High ignoring Giles, who finally got his props in this epidsode. I gotta say that the D&D game was a beautiful touch with Giles and company. It really took me back to the early days, which I really wanted to feel again.

I loved the wriing in this, it finally brought out the humor and friendship in this season that characterizes so many years. I really have to say, after watching it the second time (and realizing that no finale would absolutely fulfill all my expectations) Joss really has come full circle, which is what he wanted to do. Buffy can finally "be like other girls," which she has so desperately wanted for so long. Remember what she said to Angel a few years back...this is the first time I'm ever felt like a normal girl! Go Buffy.

And, of course, Angel...how cool was the drawing on the punching bag. You know, Buffy and Angel finally had a real conversation again. Great line about the height of their relationship (when you dumped me or when I killed you). They recognized Buffy's need to mature, and kept the door open...they still got the mojo.

I liked it. They FUN was back in the show, and Giles was great, as were the rest of the Scoobies.

Best line:
Angel - "Any thoughts on who might enjoy...do I have to go with the cookie analogy?"
