Cinescape is reporting the following!!

"The WB has renewed Joss Whedon's ANGEL series for a fifth season on the Frog network -- and it's adding another vampire to the mix. BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER cast member James Marsters, who plays that other vamp with a soul named Spike, will be joining the ANGEL cast starting next season. The move was something that had been rumored about for the past month. Other cast members from BUFFY may also make guest appearances on ANGEL. Charisma Carpenter is not coming back for season 5."
