The frightening part of this proposal is that line breeding will become a thing of the past .
Some breeders will be forced to either change their breeding stock or cease breeding completely due to the amount of faults in their breed line however insignificant they may be and finding stud dogs that meet the A.N.K.C'S standard will be virtually impossible .
Of course this will depend entirely on what is or is not allowed within a breed line and will take the guess work out of future breeding programs .
About the only advantage that i can see is that dogs that are imported from o/s would have to comply and any genetic faults would be picked up before leaving their country of origin .

Though most breeders aim for desired traits within their breeding programs we all expect to gain a particular triat but also expect to pick up some possibly not as desireable ones as well which can be weeded out from future generations to give us the type of dog we desire most.
Any form of D.N.A testing removes our right to experiment with our breeding program and how much further down the track will breeders be forced to comply with yet another set of rules and regulations which erodes the rights of breeders and could D..N.A. testing improve breeding given that the results from every litter for faults that exist in the breed already vary so much .
