Compulsory testing may or may not give breeders the security of knowing which dog is which but the costs involved are bound to hurt both breeders and buyers of puppies in what is already as Dawn points out an expensive hobby.
The onflow effect is puppies being sold for higher prices than the already exhorbitant prices that some breeders seem to get away with .
Less buyers means fewer exhibitors or people wishing to show pups in a hobby that has already lost a great many supporters over the years .
I agree with D.N.A. profiling but at what eventual cost to the hobby and how many more tests will be introduced in the future .
