This phenomena does seem to occur - though not in the abundance of "regular" paranormal incursions into OUR plane of exisitence. I have written a few articles over the years on this "Type" of contact - I have documented a few cases that were without explanation and seemed genuine to the subject reporting. Please describe your particular situation - as they are never quite the same dispite reports ovr the years. You can also email me further with the details at the email listed above (from my site)

Hello,
I once received a disturbing phone call that I just felt was something supernatural. The phone had a kind of dead ring when I picked it up, almost like it was not really ringing. When I answered, there was a lot of static and many strange muffled voices on the other end. Then, one voice began to speak, it was louder but still sounded strange. It said "prepare". Then the line when dead. I "star 69'd" to find out who called but instead of the usual # being given of the last dialer, or in some cases "I'm sorry but the number is unknown" message, I got an "error in request" message. I had never heard that message after star 69-ing before. More than anything I had a gut feeling that it was not normal. Who knows. I certainly don't know what "prepare" meant.
