Hey there...

Many moons ago, I started on Angelfire, then moved to GeoCities. I've had my ups and down... but since the move I've been fine.

I don't know what Angelfire is doing for "members" these days, but on GeoCities you have a couple of options. With their free site, you can only upload files using their upload utility. You can load up to 15 files at a time, but it's tedious.

With GeoCities Plus, Pro, Webmaster or Advantage, you have FTP access (I use WS_FTP95 LE) and this is much easier to use. Plus starts at $5 per month and it goes up from there. The nice thing about this too is that your site it ad-free -- no pop ups or drop downs. culkinadults.com is on GeoCities Pro.

The other thing to consider is your ISP. I use AT&T Worldnet and I think it's $20/month for 150 hours (it goes up from there as well). The great thing about the Worldnet package is that it gives you 6 e-mail accounts and each account gets 20 MB of webspace -- no ads, no popups. My webfeis page is on my AT&T account (http://megsdancemumblings.home.att.net/webfeis)... so are my cats (http://mystandmungo.home.att.net)

Please feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions.
