I swear some days I get more virus emails than real ones! The one saying it is a returned email is a virus, if you click on the attachment to see the email you supposedly sent you will actually be opening the virus.

As far as I know Ashe, that email telling you how to detect if you have a particular virus is actually a hoax, and sort of a virus. A lot of computers do have the file it tells you to look for and deleting it will cause all sorts of problems to your files so don't pass it on!

I was reading PC User magazine on the weekend and I thought this article was so true! It is talking about emails that come in the form of a security warning from Microsoft. Part of it says...

The email contains a number of grammatical errors, the most glaring of which is the first sentence beginning with a lower-case letter. While virus writers may be adept at expressing themselves in malicious code, they are notoriously inept when it comes to using the English language.

How true!

I have started to not open any attachments at all, no matter who they are from. If they come from someone I know or look genuine, I first email the sender to ask them if they did actually send it, and what it conatins. Anything that is picked up by my Norton antivirus as being infected goes straight onto my blocked senders list so they can't keep sending them. I lost absolutely everything last year to a virus and it's not going to happen again if I can help it!
