If you don't have the full Acrobat program, you could do the information sheet as a webpage..

Use the formatting, images, whatever else that you want, but put it on a plain white background, with black text .. a really basic page, no layout or design.

You could then link to it from your site, so it opens in a new window (use the code target="blank" in the a href tag).

Users can then print it off very easily, without layouts and backgrounds getting in the way.
