Well, I went back to my neuro on Monday and told him about these new eye things (as well as other new symptomof ringing in left ear). He asked me if I've ever had anything like this before and I said, "Yes, and I was told they were probably optic migraines then." He said, "yeah, that sounds right, but it wouldn't explain the soreness in my eye.
He is sending me for VER's and SSEP's now (well actually the appt. is in a month). He did feel the need to tell me he is pretty sure that they are not going to find anything with this test either, and that if that is the case then there is nothing more that he can do for me as he doesn't think my symptoms are neurological. So, of course, now I am kind of hoping they do find something, just to prove him wrong, even though I don't want anything serious to be wrong with me.

By the way, I have a couple of questions:

He did examine my eyes with the flashlight and all--would he have seen evidence of damage if there was some?

And, how long do the evoked potential tests take and do they usually find damage before it shows up on an MRI?

THanks all....
