Hi Jayne,

That sure doesn't sound fun! I actually haven't had this, except as caused by contact lenses, but you might want to look up Sjorgen's syndrome. It is an autoimmune problem that causes very dry eyes and it has come up in the MGH MS forum several times as I think that autoimmune diseases cluster and some people there have it. There is also a separate MGH forum on Sjorgen's.
