First, I think the danger has passed for now; we took a good Christain friend with us and he asked about my dad. He is as my mother says "the person most like Jesus I've known in my life.". He counseled us and then changed his plans to come and talk to my dad. My dad apologized for having scared me. I think with support and prayers he will make it, at least for now and that will have to be enough.

We went to Petit Jean, climbed around much to my legs' dismay! It was foggy but pretty; it is so peaceful up there and as close to heaven as I've ever been. It has a calming and awe-inspirering effect. It is without a doubt my favorite place in Arkansas and that I've been to so far in my life. You can see for miles, distant cities, stars at night and a gorgious (sp) sunset. There are lots of trails , campgrounds (including one founded by my church district over 100 yrs ago, a waterfall, lots of rocks (including turtle rocks found no where else in the world), caves, Indian pictographs & petrogliphs and lots of overlooks.

It was an exausting day and not b/c of the hiking, but I still have a father! I am glad to be able to sleep peacefully tonight. Thanks for listening and caring! Please don't forget my dad in your prayers; we are not out of the woods yet.

Thank-you
