Visual disturbances:
sever blurring of vision
darkening/graying of vision (haziness, cloud)
difficulty with color
double vision (diplopia)
eye pain with eyeball movement
light sensitivity (always had this)
hard to see black print on a white page
I'M ADDING THIS - retained image (The last thing I look at will appear as a negative image on top of what I look at next) I go through phases of this.

Balance & co-ordination problems:

loss of balance
tremor
hands shake
unstable walking (ataxia) because of balance
clumsiness of a limb
lack of co-ordination
dropping things
foot drop
poor aim (walk into doorways)
Weakness:
limbs feel like lead
poor grip strength
weak legs
weak arms
knees feel like they are going out of joint
Spasticity:

stiff muscles (tightness)
spasms
wiggling of facial muscles (myokymia)
twitching muscles all over
lack of fluidity in movements
walking difficulties due to stiffness
jumpiness
big full body "jolts/twitches" in response to noise or something brushing up against me

Altered sensation:

tingling
buzzing
pins & needles
itching
numbness (list locations if you wish)
zinging
Lhermite's sign
"loose threads" tickling sensation
bugs crawling feeling
bugs biting feeling
sensations of water running down skin
cold things feel wet
burning sensations
cold feels like burning
banding
shock like sensations
pounding heart


Pain:
chest pain (hug)
joint pain
headaches
back pain
painful skin sensitive to touch

Abnormal speech:

slowing of speech
slurring of words
stuttering
changes in rhythm of speech (long pauses)
Difficulty in swallowing (dysphagia)
forget what is being said in the middle of a sentence
difficulty finding words
mixing words together (garbled words)
thinking one word but saying another
Fatigue

a debilitating kind of general fatigue which is unpredictable or out of proportion to the activity.
Bladder problems


incomplete emptying (spastic bladder)
difficulty releasing (need to go but can't)
Bowel problems (no, you don't have to tell if you don't want to)
constipation
bouts of diarrhea
loss of bowel control
Sensitivity to heat & temperature:

heat causes an obvious worsening of symptoms
cold causes an obvious worsening of symptoms
wacky body temperature control
night sweats
Sensitivity to sound

Cognitive & emotional disturbances:

problems with short term memory
can't remember what you just said
concentration
lack of focus, easily distracted
very difficult to do more than one thing at a time
judgement or reasoning
"OK. What was I doing" is you most common phrase
frequently talking to yourself out loud to try help remember what you are doing
emotional incontinence (e.g.: crying at the drop of a hat)
depression
irritability
anger (yes but rarely expressed - costs way too much)
panic attacks
when going up/down steps freezing up and not knowing what foot to lift
ADDING - don't know where legs are
