I do not agree with you regarding the statement that Brandon "had very little money". Branon owned a fairly expensive car and he bought Eliza a beautiful engagement ring from a world famous jeweler. Brandon may not have been the highest paid actor in Hollywood at the time of his death and it is true that The Crow would have been his breakthrough into superstardom, but he was doing okay financially at the time of his death.
